Satterlee Defends Durboraw Tribute Crown at Hagerstown

Winning at Hagerstown in Super Late Model action has become a right of passage for Gregg Satterlee. That tradition continued Saturday night at Hagerstown Speedway as the Indiana, Pa driver successfully defended his crown in taking the latest edition of the Nathan Durboraw Tribute. Fresh off the Frank Sagi Tribute win a few weeks ago, Satterlee grabbed the lead from his pole starting spot, following a heat race win, and proceeded to lead all 41 laps for the $4,100 to win payday. Top Qualifier Will Herrington rode home second in the 27 car field with Justin Weaver, Trevor Feathers, and Gene Knaub completing the top five. Satterlee won the Dash, as well as his heat, with Gene Knaub and JT Spence taking the other qualifiers.

Brandon Churchey of Martinsburg, West Virginia laid claim to his second win of the season in the 15 lap Pure Stock main event, taking the top honors over Randy Linaburg, Nathaniel Younker, Dylan Beavers, and William Ecton Jr. Heats for the 15 entries went to Nick Fogle and Keith Reed.

In the first appearance of the season for the East Coast Legends, Ryan Walls of St. Thomas, PA recorded his first Hagerstown win of the season, leading all 15 laps from his outside pole spot, fending off the constant challenges from Seth Kearchner and Lincoln Kearchner. Following the top 3 were Devin Friese and Colton Friese.
