Pennslyaniva Racer Earns $8,000 for 12th Win of Season

INDIANA, Pa. (11/03/25) – Gregg Satterlee put an exclamation mark on his 2025 campaign this past weekend, powering his Satterlee Motorsports/Keyser Manufacturing No. 22 Rocket Chassis Late Model to victory in Friday’s Mid-Atlantic Championship at Georgetown Speedway.

Satterlee followed up with a runner-up finish Saturday in the Darryl Hills Memorial at Potomac Speedway, marking a fitting conclusion to another banner season for the Indiana, Pennsylvania native. He closed the year with 12 victories, 23 top-five finishes, and 34 top-10s, along with his second consecutive Appalachian Mountain Speedweek (AMS) championship.

"We got a really good team (with) my crew chief Robby (Allen),” Satterlee said after Friday’s victory at Georgetown. “We didn’t start off the night the greatest, with the dash we were a little bit off. We made some good changes, thanks to him, I kinda just let him do his thing and the car came to life after a couple laps in the feature.”

The Bernheisel Racing Components Fall Clash miniseries doubleheader began with Friday’s penultimate event at the Georgetown, Delaware, facility. After qualifying second-fastest and finishing fourth in the dash, Satterlee capitalized on his crew chief’s adjustments in the 40-lap feature. Starting from the second row, he tracked down early pacesetter Mason Zeigler on lap 30 and led the final 10 laps to claim the $8,000 victory—his 12th of the season.

Momentum carried into Saturday’s Darryl Hills Memorial at Potomac Speedway (Md.), where Satterlee outran Zeigler in the dash to earn the pole position for the $10,000-to-win finale. Zeigler ultimately won the 50-lap feature, with Satterlee in close pursuit throughout. At the checkered flag, Satterlee crossed the line just 0.820 seconds behind Zeigler to officially close his 2025 campaign.
