Satterlee storms to second in Bedford's Keystone Cup
The eighth annual Keystone Cup brought Gregg Satterlee to Bedford Speedway this past weekend for a weather-shortened edition of the marquee event.
After a flat right-rear tire in time trials sent him into the wall, Satterlee was unable to start his heat race as his team went to work making repairs. Forced to start 21st in the $20,000-to-win A-Main, the Indiana, Pennsylvania native mounted an impressive charge through the field, advancing 19 positions during the 50-lap feature to record a second-place finish.
He joined race winner Trever Feathers and third-place finisher Bryan Bernheisel on the podium.
