Satterlee finishes 10th in Pittsburgher opener
Gregg Satterlee made the short two-hour trip to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway over the weekend, as the half-mile oval welcomed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for the 37th annual Pittsburgher.
Satterlee opened the weekend with a strong on Friday, charging from seventh to third in his heat race to secure a spot in the $10,000-to-win feature. He went on to record a 10th-place finish in the main event.
On Saturday, the Indiana, Pennsylvania native narrowly transferred into the $50,000-to-win Pittsburgher finale by grabbing the fourth-and-final transfer position in his heat. Despite bringing out the race’s first caution on lap 10, Satterlee recovered to advance one position during the 70-lap feature, ultimately finishing 13th.
