Satterlee finishes eighth in Rumble by the River at Port Royal
Gregg Satterlee made the trip to Port Royal Speedway this past weekend to compete in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series’ annual Rumble by the River.
The weekend began on a challenging note, as Satterlee folded his nose under during hot laps and was forced to scratch from his time trial. A 12th-place finish in his consolation race ended his Friday night early.
Satterlee bounced back on Saturday, following a fifth-place finish in his heat with a B-Main win. Starting 17th in the $50,000-to-win A-Main, he charged forward nine positions to finish eighth.
