Pair of runner-up finishes in Historic 100 at WVMS

Friday night found Gregg Satterlee in action at West Virginia Motor Speedway (Mineral Wells, W.Va.) for the Historic 100 weekend. With 23 Late Models entered, Satterlee secured his spot into the opening night feature with a heat race win. With $10,000 on the line, Gregg clawed forward one spot in the 30-lapper to register a runner-up finish behind Jonathan Davenport. Tyler Erb, G.R. On Saturday afternoon, Gregg came in second in his heat race behind Jonathan Davenport, which positioned him second on the starting grid for the $25,000-to-win Historic 100. After fading as far back as sixth, Satterlee began his charge forward near the middle stages of the 50-lapper as he began reeling in frontrunners Devin Moran and Jonathan Davenport. Unable to surpass Jonathan Davenport in the closing laps, Gregg settled with his second runner-up finish of the weekend. Moran, Tyler Erb, and Matt Sponaugle rounded out the Top-5.
