His latest conquest was worth $10,000 and came in Zimmer’s United Late Model Series (ULMS) action at Pennsylvania’s Thunder Mountain Speedway.

“We had to work hard for that one. We led early and then Boom (Briggs) got past us, and we were finally able to get back to the lead late in the race and get the win. There’s a lot of good talent on this ULMS tour, and I always enjoy running with them,” Satterlee said. “I’m looking forward to the upcoming weekend with the Lucas Oil Series, and hopefully we can add some more wins.”

Gregg Satterlee invaded Thunder Mountain Speedway (Knox Dale, Pa.) on Friday afternoon to take part in a doubleheader weekend with the Zimmer’s United Late Model Series (ULMS). Drawing 35 cars for the Jim Garman Memorial, Satterlee topped his group in time trials before picking up a heat race victory.

Winning an exciting late-race battle over Boom Briggs in the 40-lap feature, Gregg soared to his 11th win of the season, which came ahead of Briggs, Max Blair, Chub Frank, and Jared Miley. His 11th -career ULMS triumph was worth $10,000.

Saturday's ULMS finale fell victim to Mother Nature.
